Barnardo's Works Employability Fund Stage 2 (Barnardos Works)

Employability Fund Stage 2 offers a 13-week course, in which young people can get £55 per week plus money towards travel. Whilst on course they can gain a qualification and attend a work placement to practice skills and knowledge in a working environment. The course will run 5 days a week 10am - 3pm within a group setting based in the office.

Whilst on the course, young people will learn a variety of employability skills including understanding and writing CVs and cover letters. They will also be able to build confidence, gain team working skills and understand their own motivation.

Target client group

Unemployed 16 - 24 year olds .

£55 is not offered if young person is receiving benefits although travel expenses can still be reimbursed.
