Action for Children - Reach Out (Action for Children)
Our Reach Out programme is designed to support young people to increase attainment, confidence and communication skills.
Participants are encouraged to explore the world of work look at options for progression including further training or education. Young people will be supported to complete SQA qualifications depending upon their need.
The Reach Out programme is delivered to small groups of approx. 8 young people within their local communities. The identified areas include North Edinburgh (Pilton, Muirhouse, Granton), Niddrie/Craigmillar, and Wester Hailes.

Care experienced, Disability, Homeless / at risk of homelessness, Substance misuse, LGBT+, BME Groups, Criminal Convictions, Lone Parents, Health Conditions, and Long term unemployed

This programme is aimed at young people aged 16-24 residing in Edinburgh.
This is a group programme and we have various intakes across the year. Contact us for recruitment information.
We would also welcome enquiries from providers who have identified groups within their communities so if you think we can help then please get in touch.
Reach Out is delivered within local communities therefore the location will vary to maximise accessibility.
