Grants available through LCR Stands Up
LCR Stands Up is a participatory budgeting project delivered by members of the community in Lochend, Craigentinny and Restalrig supported by The Ripple Project(this will open in a new window).
Applications are now open for organisations and individuals who would like to deliver a project which impacts people in Lochend, Craigentinny or Restalrig. Projects should fall into one of the four themes:
- Theme 1: Social Inclusion & Physical/Mental Health
- Theme 2: Domestic Violence
- Theme 3: Cleaner & Greener Spaces
- Theme 4: Addressing Racial Inequality
You can apply for up to £2,000 (or up to £3,000 in the case of Theme 4). The project could be a one-off event, a short-term series of events or a project lasting up to twelve months.

Members of the local community will be voting for their favourite projects concluding with an announcement event on Friday 14 October 2022.
