Making Work Work - for Women Returners
Are you a woman looking to get back to work after a career break? Do you have management/leadership experience or aspirations? Are you seeking work that fits all the other commitments and enjoyment of life?
If you answered yes then join us for Making Work Work - a free, online, 6-week course designed to support women back into work after a career break.
Our purpose is to empower women to find work that works which is fulfilling and meaningful.
We aim to contribute to more positive and productive workplace cultures where people are able to contribute in a way which fits with their lifestyles and commitments; improve the diversity of workplaces and address the Gender Pay Gap by supporting women to return to work commensurate with their skills and aspirations, and by helping employers to find, recruit and retain them; to Lift incomes of families by enabling women to work and help women to devise (work)life blends that suit them, their families and lifestyles.
You can find out more, read our FAQs and apply at makingworkwork.scot(this will open in a new window).
The next cohort begins on Monday 16th May and there is still time to apply at the time of writing. However we will be running two cohorts starting in late August and a further cohort in late October - so if the time isn't right, please still apply and we can reserve your spot on the programme.
