An ongoing programme for young people (aged 16-21) focusing on mental health and wellbeing through art and creative activities.
We are running this as a well-being course with the opportunity to gain a qualification in Improving Wellbeing, SCQF level 3-5 accredited by Edinburgh College.
The programme seeks to build on useful skills such as confidence, self-esteem, teamwork and self-travel.
The programme will be run in partnership with the Fruitmarket Gallery in Edinburgh. It will be run by an in-house artist and a member of the Fruitmarket staff. Additionally, Access to Industry Caseworkers will be present to support the young people during the class.
Young people must live in Edinburgh and be facing barriers to education, training and/or employment.
