Henry Duncan Grants

This year’s Henry Duncan Grants will fund community-based support for mental health and wellbeing.

Around one in three people in Scotland are estimated to experience mental ill health in any year(this will open in a new window). The impacts aren’t spread equally across the population, with adults living in areas of poverty approximately twice as likely to have common mental health problems(this will open in a new window). It seems likely that the health, economic and social impacts of the coronavirus pandemic will increase people’s need for support with mental health and wellbeing. Many of the stories(this will open in a new window) emerging from the past year have shown how important community support has been.

This year’s Henry Duncan Grants has three strands:

  • Organisation Grants
  • Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Project Grants
  • Micro Grants.

Corra believes diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI)(this will open in a new window) is fundamental to it’s ten-year strategy(this will open in a new window). As a result, the team are working proactively to reach, and be accessible to diverse communities. You can (this will open in a new window)read more on the 2021 Henry Duncan Grants here and the inclusion of a strand focused on Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities.
