Venture Trust - CashBack Green Futures (Venture Trust)
CashBack Green Futures is a 5 week Employability programme that will run Tues-Thu, 10-3, each week. Participants will develop new skills, participate in outdoor activities such as rock climbing and kayaking, gain new qualifications, gain volutneering experience and learn more about their local communities.
CashBack Green Futures is a programme designed to transform the lives of disadvantaged young people. It combines employability training, outdoor activities and environmental engagement to foster personal growth and prepare participants for a brighter future. Through a combination of 1:1, groupwork support and tailored activities, Green Futures addresses employment barriers and equips participants with essential skills.
The program emphasises environmental awareness and positive climate action. Participants engage in community volunteering, learning about the environment and contributing to sustainability initiatives. Outdoor activities like rock climbing and canoeing build core life skills and develop teamwork abilities.
Following the course, support will be provided from Venture Trust’s Employability Team which is guided by the participant’s individual goals and personal action plans.
