Getting back to and staying in work is a key issue for many people, especially those experiencing ill health and/or long periods of work absence. Our aim is to help employees to achieve a positive relationship between health and work, providing therapeutic intervention as early as possible to support you back to work

Lothian Work Support Services (LWSS) offers work rehabilitation support. It aims to assist employees to better manage their health and work needs in order to support return to work or remaining in work. LWSS achieves this through a case management approach, advice, supported self management, job analysis, work ability evaluation, and work focused therapies.

• Individuals who are employed
• Off sick or struggling at work because of health condition
• Self-employed and struggling with work due to your health

Referrals can be made via telephone call where your details will be taken and advice will be offered by one of our Occupational Therapy Certified Disability Case Managers
