Move On BBFF Employability Programme (Move On)
This is an 8-week employability programme for young people aged 16-21 years who are interested in gaining skills and qualifications in a wood workshop. The course is suitable for participants at stages 1 & 2 of the Strategic Skills Pipeline.
Move On has teamed up with Action for Children to deliver an eight week course designed to improve young people's chances of employment in the construction sector or their chances of moving on to further training. Participants will spend one day a week at our wood recycling centre gaining practical, on-the-job experience in a construction environment. The group will then split their time between Move On's offices and Action for Children to gain numerous SQA qualifications as well as their CSCS card, First Aid and Manual Handling qualifications.
