The project

New Futures provides tailored careers advice and support for those searching for new employment, whether they are looking to change or progress in their current role. If they are looking for more hours, higher pay, or are considering entering a new sector, New Futures can support them on their journey towards their goals.

How it works

A qualified Careers Advisor will support people to develop an Action Plan and build up the link with recruiting employers to find work matching their aims and aspirations.

New Futures Scotland will also provide people with free training, providing sector-specific certificates and qualifications across a wide variety of industries, allowing people to update their skills and make their CVs stand out from the crowd.

By linking with employers in recruiting sectors, New Futures will support people to access new opportunities that align with their career goals and provide In Work Support to help people succeed in their new roles.
