The Welcoming Association’s Employment Support team offer one-to-one appointments and courses to advise on employment, education, and training opportunities in Edinburgh and the surrounding areas for New Scots.

· Employability support for under 30’s - INSPIRE Project

· Employability support for over 30’s

· Getting Ready for Opportunities and Work (GROW) project for New Scots parents from all ethnic backgrounds.

One-to-one appointments are held at The Welcoming office or online via Microsoft Teams. Our GROW Employability course for New Scots parents is also based at The Welcoming main office based in Gorgie.

The Welcoming Association is an organisation in Edinburgh that exclusively supports New Scots (refugees, asylum seekers and migrants).

The Welcoming runs a self-referral system for registered members.
