The map course - Employability Workshop
Looking to get into work? Returning to work after a break? Struggling to sustain existing work? Changing career?
Volunteer Edinburgh’s map course is a series of 3 free workshops designed to improve employability by building confidence, self-esteem and communication skills.
1. motivation - getting started, Wednesday 14/08, 10:00am to 13:00pm
2. aspirations – moving on, Wednesday 21/08, 10:00am to 13:00pm
3. progression - getting there, Wednesday 28/08, 10:00am to 13:00pm
Open to anyone aged 16+ with an Edinburgh postcode, who is either unemployed or, working 16hrs or less, or is in unstable work such as zero hours contracts.
The course will cover: Evaluation of your current situation and assessment of skills & values, confidence building and transferable skills, CVs and job interviews.
