Counting on Success: a numeracy course

The course teaches basic numeracy skills via a variety of practical subjects, e.g. managing finances & home budget, calculating interest rates, planning family holidays (time and budget management), home cooking (fractions, converting units), home redecoration (surface measurements, how much materials needed) etc. Students work towards tailored individual plans, with potential to gain relevant SQA qualifications in the future.

The course recruits on an ongoing basis (subject to space availability) and there are no entry requirements.
