Introduction to Data Science with Excel
The field of Data Science combines digital and data skills, specific knowledge about a particular topic or subject area, and numeracy skills to extract insights and knowledge from data. The ability to identify the problem to solve, the correct data to use, carry out the analysis and then implement the outcome requires the three abovementioned areas to be brought together.
- Data Growth
- Data Bias and the Data Science Life Cycle
- Excel for Data Science
- Practical Test – Data Project
- Data Security
- Data subjects, data owners
- Contemporary Applications of Data Science
Note that the exact topics might be updated in the upcoming academic year.

Please note a change in our recruitment approach: being able to understand and fill out an online form will be treated as part of the assessment process, as learners joining either of our data courses should be able to do that with little to no support. We understand that long online forms can sometimes be overwhelming and so we are happy for the professionals to continue providing guidance with this, but we ask that you don’t fill out the form on behalf of your clients.
